Bands and Performing Groups

               

 
This insurance program is specifically designed for US based bands and performing groups who work on an independent contractor basis entertaining at events and performances. Coverages provided under this program include important liability protection for the performing group for liability claims arising out of their operations.

The following criteria must be met to be eligible for consideration of coverage under this program:

  • All groups must have at least one member or representative who is at least 18 years of age
  • No more than 30 members in a performing group
  • Annual gross income from the performing group activities cannot exceed $200,000 if applying online for immediate coverage.
    Groups with annual income of $200,001-$500,000 must complete and submit a printed pdf enrollment form
    (see "Application & Printable Documents" link above)

Operations and music genres not eligible for this program include, but are not limited to the following:
       
-Acrobatic/aerialist performers-Models
-Actors or actresses-Performers putting on an athletic exhibition
-Bands or groups with music genres of electronic/techno,-Performers using weapons (live ammunition or
hip hop, rap and heavy metal/screamosharpened blades)
-Circus performers-Permanent tattoo and/or body piercing artists
-Cosmetologists/Beauticians-Production/entertainment companies
-Escape artists-Public speakers
-Exotic dancers/strippers-Pyrotechnicians
 -Henna/Mehndi artists-School accredited/sponsored programs, bands
-Historical battle re-enactment groupsand/or performing groups
-Hypnotists-Strength performers
-Instruction of other individuals for a fee-Stunt performers
-Jousters-Touring bands and/or groups
-Mascots (college, high school, professional)
